The Drifting Years: Recollections
I spent a few strange and memorable years traveling and teaching myself to fly hang glider and ultralight. A meditation on flight, travel, love, and choice. It was peculiar period of transformation.

Travels, Flavors, and Memories: A Southeast Asian Food Diary in Vignettes, Recipes, and Photos. This is my collection of recipes handed down from my mother, gathered on my travels, and composed from my years of work as a restaurant reviewer, interspersed with photos and highlighted with vignettes about the people, the places, and history behind the food.
